Jack Umansky
B.S. in Information Technology
Concentration in Management Information Systems
“I think the idea of combining technology with a concentration area is excellent and it truly is how the real world works. You cannot just do finance anymore; you cannot do much without IT.”
Jack was born in Minsk, Belarus (former Republic of the USSR). He came to the US in 1989 with his family. He started at Rensselaer as a premed major before switching into IT.
Current Position: Project Lead Consultant, CGI-AMS
Description: Jack is currently working on designing and implementing PPMS (Pension Payroll Management System) for the city of New York.
